Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where did you get them?
Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast – definitely a bonus
What’s the cost?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
Golden Goose sneakers typically range from $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
Are they true to size?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also be smart.

How is the fit?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in.
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid.
Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
